Terms & Conditions

Effective 9 September 2026 · SameBeat mobile application.

These Terms govern your use of SameBeat (“the app”). By installing or using the app you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

1. Account

You must provide accurate information (such as your name and mobile number) and keep your device secure. You are responsible for activity on your account. We may suspend accounts that impersonate others, spam, or break these Terms.

2. Acceptable use

• Do not harass, threaten, or abuse other listeners.
• Do not post illegal, sexual involving minors, hateful, or fraudulent content.
• Do not attempt to hack the API, scrape at abusive rates, or disrupt rooms.
• Do not use the app to distribute malware or steal accounts.
• Follow copyright and YouTube rules when sharing or requesting songs.

3. User-generated content (Google Play UGC)

Chat, room names, song requests, and similar content are created by users. You grant us a license to host and display that content so the app can work. We may remove content or ban users that violate these Terms. If you see abuse, contact privacy@refbite.com.

4. YouTube API Services

The app uses YouTube to play and catalog music. By using playback features you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service. Google’s privacy policy is at policies.google.com/privacy.

5. Google Play and payments

If you download SameBeat from Google Play, Google’s Play Terms also apply. The current app does not require a paid subscription to create an account.

6. Service availability and liability

The app is provided “as is.” Rooms may go offline, playback may drift, and YouTube may block embeds. To the fullest extent allowed by law we are not liable for lost data, interrupted listening, or indirect damages.
